APPOINTMENTS

How long do eyelash extensions last?

Lash extensions should last between 2 to 6 weeks, but it can depend on your skincare routine, personal habits, and your own natural lash cycle. To maintain the full look of your lash set, we usually recommend coming in for a refill every 2-4 weeks.

How are the eyelash extensions applied? Does it feel painful?

In a nutshell, your natural lashes are prepped, your bottom lashes are protected with a collagen eye patch, and the lash extensions are dipped in our medical grade bonding glue and applied individually to your natural lashes. It may take a few minutes to get adjusted to the procedure (especially if it’s your first time), but most of our clients have fallen asleep during their appointment!

It’s my first time getting eyelash extensions, is there anything I need to know?

Yes! Users can add video from YouTube or Vimeo with ease:

Please read more on precare here.

What should I do during my appointment?

How long will my appointment last?

Depending on which set of lashes you decide to get, your appointment (new sets and refills) would take approximately 1-1.5 hours.

Honestly, nothing! It’s a great time to doze off, daydream, or catch some zzz’s during your appointment.

What happens if I’m unable to make it to my appointment time?

You can read more about our cancellation/reschedule policy here.

Why do I feel a stinging/burning sensation during the procedure?

The stinging/burning sensation is due to the sensitivity from your eyes. Because our adhesive is hypoallergenic (meaning that it’s safe), it may take a few moments for the glue to dry to your natural lashes. Depending on the thickness of your cornea epidermal, you may or may not experience this sensation during your appointment. However, rest assured as this is not something that should last too long!

What happens if I get an allergic reaction?

Please give us a call/text as soon as you notice any sort of allergic reaction! If we are unable to see you immediately, we’ll recommend some ointments/medication to relieve the symptoms. Do not try to remove them on your own. It may be scary, but it’s nothing too serious and your eyes should recover in no time. Please be advised that we cannot be liable for any allergic reaction to the glue (as stated in the consent form) and refunds cannot be made.

EYELASH EXTENSION

What are your lash extensions made of?

We use individual silk lashes. They give a more natural look rather than a “plastic” or “shiny” feel!

Does your lash glue contain latex?

No!

AFTER CARE

Can I apply mascara with my lash extensions?

Can I wear eye makeup with my lash extensions?

Because the lash extensions enhance your eyes, we don’t recommend wearing mascara. If, for any reason, you feel the need to wear mascara in areas that are sparse, you must only apply WATER BASED mascara. Do not use oil-based or water-proof mascara. The materials contained in oil-based/water-proof products contain an ingredient that can dissolve the lash glue.

You sure can! Make sure you use OIL-FREE makeup remover to remove your makeup. The materials contained in oil-based products contain an ingredient that can dissolve the lash glue. We recommend powered and pencil eyeliner as liquid and gel eyeliner can build up between your lashes and slowly pull on the lash extensions. However, wearing eyeliner can affect your lash extensions.

How do I wash my face with my lash extensions on?

We recommend washing your face in the sink rather than the shower – just be sure to avoid direct water contact with your lash extensions. Pat your lash extensions down, dry your lashes with a blow dryer on cool, and then use the complementary wand to brush through your lashes.

REFILLS

What is a refill? How often should I go in for a refill?

During a refill appointment, our lash technicians go through each lash to remove any grown out lash extensions and thoroughly clean the remaining extensions and natural lashes. New lash extensions are then placed on any natural lashes. We recommend our clients to come in every two to four (2 to 4) weeks. Different factors may affect the life of the lash extensions, so it is up to the client to decide which refill date (week) is appropriate to them.

When my lash extensions fell out, I had a natural eyelash attached to it. is that normal?

Yes -- the more you get your extensions refilled, you’ll start to notice that some extensions will have fallen out attached to your natural lashes. This is a very natural cycle, where natural lashes shed and new eyelashes are grown. The new eyelashes, otherwise known as baby eyelashes, will grow to be healthy eyelashes that can firmly hold the extensions.

How do I get the eyelash extensions removed?

Please do not try to remove the lash extensions yourself! If improperly removed, you can end up pulling out your natural lashes, resulting in weaker/shorter lashes and gaps between your eyelashes. You can either allow the extensions to fall out on its own or get them professionally removed by our technician. Our technician will go in with a specific technique and use a remover specified for lash extension removal. No damage is done to your natural lashes.
